A contemporary tale of suburban revenge, I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore is a violent comedy in the same vein as God Bless America or Super, wherein an average person, plagued by a monotonous and unfulfilling life is suddenly upended by a proverbial "final straw" which sets them on a path of violence and revenge, ultimately leaving them a changed person with a positive outlook on life - and a body count.
